This is all collected off of the other thread that I had started a few weeks back. If we could get this as a sticky I think it would be great for anyone in the area. Feel free to add any that might have been missed.
When i was putting together this list i was thinking archery shops. bass pro has alot of archery stuff, i could possible see it on the list. but dicks doesnt realy have much during the off seasons and they are everywhere over the state.
good enough news for me.. what is every ones particular 'one' favorite and why? usually, it's going to be the nearest one and the one one with the cheapest prices.. but, just curious
If your talking about reedy's, they most certainly do have a paper tuner, however they have learned much like many others that paper tuning, isn't the end all of tuning your bow, if anything its just the begining. but they do have a paper tuning frame and all!
Didn't notice any mention of Trader Jan's down in the New Bedford/ Fall River area. Haven't been there myself but heard good things. As far as the top of the list not even owning a paper tuner I'd say that not true. Have shot thru paper there in the basement as they had a PVC frame set up for paper and you could get 10, 15 and 20 yard shots in the basement.
Ed Fisher at E&J in westhampton has always treated me great. I have been to a bunch of shops in the area and i feel like Ed has forgoten more than most know.
Teepee archery by far the best around. I've been to 70% of these other places and just the service alone from tepee makes them #1 nevermind the clean, organized well stocked pro shop
B&G has treated me well!!! Hooked me up with a brand new Mathews Heli-M for $200. less than MSRP and paper tuned my bow. Mr. Gogol knows Mathews bows!!!!
Anyone Know if arrow speed in Chicopee tunes bow. My hoyts way out of tune and r&r doesn't form what iv see touch tuning bows. They have you shoot at old cardboard boxes in the back of the shop. No draw board or paper tuner so im looking for a local shop to tune my bow.
