Shrink wrap tubing for nocking point

Has anyone ever used/tried shrink wrap tubing for nocking point on the string? (used for electrical wiring.)

    Thanks,

    Don

    Don -

Been done. They even used to sell short pieces in 5-packs for that purpose. Most of us used matches to heat the shrink wrap, just don't get distracted and get the flame too close to the string - not that I've ever done that ...

I've not used shrink wrap, but why not (the aformentioned caveat being considered) ? I use dental floss for my nocks.

    Much Aloha

Actually, they really don't move at all as the inner surface seems to adhere to the serving. Caveat, I've never tried "electrical" shrink wrap, just the stuff made for bowstrings, I was under the impression it was the same stuff.

Here's a pic of a 30 something year old string, the NP hasn't moved yet

Clang - Don't think that's the same thing!
