Single vs. Double Jaw Caliper Releases

So is there an advantage one way or the other between a double caliper like the Scott Shark and a single jaw caliper like the Little Goose or Itty Bitty Goose.

I am leaning toward the IBG because of the rope connector.

There are some other threads here on that subject. I have shot both types in Scott releases and could not really notice a difference (Little Goose, Little Bitty Goose, Wildcat and Sabertooth). I felt better about the Double Caliper so I went with the Sabertooth NCS.
