This is my bowhunting motto....."I went to the woods because i wished to live deliberately,to front the essential facts of life,and see if i could learn what it had to teach,and not when i came to die,discover that i had not lived.
I did not wish to live what was not life,living is so dear."

Mine has been this ; Whatever bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die isn't human and shouldn't be trusted.
My grandfather passed this wisdom on to me while we were Elk hunting shortly after my ex wife filed for divorce.
Another one that should go along with this is;
Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!
Just another hunter in the woods

"Doors are made to walk through easily. Don't let your head get so big that it won't fit through the door."
You can only put ONE arrow on the string at a time, so think about shooting ONLY that ONE arrow.
Just let it float and SHOOT THE SHOT! Author of: "ProActive Archery", "The Puzzled Archer", "The Puzzled Cyclist".

Barebow attitude: I sure hope I hit that bullseye!
Compound attitude:I sure hope I dont miss that bullseye!
Archers Attitude:I sure hope I can help this guy hit the bullseye.
If shooting a Doe is pointless, Is the shooting of a Buck a way of racking up points?

How about this one: "Must have been some string creep." or "He looked a lot bigger from the stand." LOL
Actually mine this year was: "It'll shoot where I point it."
