I put out some game cams(2) in July of this year to see if there was any deer in my area after an unsuccessful season, last year. Two weeks after putting the cams out I started getting some photos. Does were coming in from about 30 minutes after dark to about 30 minutes before light and at all times in between. No bucks were seen until about late October and they were between 12:00am- 5:30am. A couple were spikes, one was a 9 point, another was 4-5 point and a couple 8 points.
Out of all this time, from July through today, I've had well over 100 pics with deer in them, but I've only had 3 pics with does during the daytime(7:30am, 9:30am and 10:15am) all on different days and one pic of a 4 point on the move at 9:30am. That's 4 days with deer in the daytime out of almost 4 months. Not very good odds, at all!!
The thing that really blows me away is that I was sitting in the yard a week before bow season opened and out popped three 8 point bucks that walked through my backyard to the frontyard and just looked at me for 10 minutes about 40 yards away. This really got me pumped!!, but haven't seen anything since...
Is there a way to get them to move more during the day and how can I get the deer to come out more during the daytime??
