    P52/IR test pics

Finally finished my first IR builds, P52/SS in 1040's. Thanks to FMJ for helping me with the IR hacks. I'll post some pics of the cams when I get the camo done today, but here is the first test pics. Set this Friday evening on a hole in the fence where my thicket borders a hayfield, oddly enough there was no night time deer activity. I was pretty happy with the daytime pics though.

The pics are great, but these are B&W Daytime photos. Will all of them be this way? Just wondering?

Yes once the camera is converted to IR you loose the color daytime pics. They are actually kind of pink at first but I converted them to B&W.

Very nice - any pics of the build itself - I'd like to see a P52 in a 1040...

    Nice!

How do you IR mod the P52 if you don't mind me asking? With shims? I've done d380's and P32's but I've not the 52's and I have one I'd love to convert.

the 52 is the same as the 32 you can scrape the ir filter off the glass of the filter also or you can do a no glass mod by shaving it will a file others can shed more light on that process as i havent done it yet
