Cabelas in Hamburg? Now y'all got me wondering whether I should go shoot it....On the Outlaw, we have one at work. Set it up and took a couple of shots. I thought that the throttle cam made the draw cycle especially brutal, I was not a huge fan. Good looking bow, priced right.

Shot one today for the first time. Very nice. It did 337 FPS at 29"/71# and 350 grain arrow. Super dead in the hand after shot.

Shot this bow and loved it. We shot ours with cat whiskers installed off the bat, and I thought the bow was very quiet with no hand shock. It is top heavy for sure, but holds well. Not a big fan of the grip.

    SPEED:
Tested Actual IBO via the backcountry calculator and came up with 340fps! Fast! And near right on with the advertised IBO. The valley and wall feel nice.

Actual IBO on Carnage about 330, Actual IBO on Deadeye 340fps, Actual IBO on Z7 320fps from our testing using the backcountry calculator.

I shot this bow at Scheels an it is better looking when you have it in your hand! It is a stiff draw but man does it shoot!

I just chrono'd the Carnage, Z7 Xtreme, and Deadeye all in the last couple days. These were my results at 29". Pretty much add 10 fps for IBO at 30".

    BOW------@29"-----@30"
    Carnage---324----334 IBO
    Xtreme----317----327 IBO
    Deadeye---337----347 IBO

Each bow ran about a 1/4" long.

Shot one at Bass Pro today, it's a great bow! I was a little worried at first when I was holding it in the aisle way it felt a little top heavy but when I shot it, it felt so right! I'll admit there is a slight vibration after the shot but the balance is very good and it is dead in the hand. It also wasn't as loud as the Fugitive. I first test fired the Fugitive and the draw cycle was HARSH but then I test fired the Deadeye and it drew back nice and smooth! I'm in love with this bow! Anyway, I picked up the accessories for it while I was there so that when it comes in I can have it all set up and ready to show off here on AT! Will not be long before I'm hunting deer again!

I can't wait to shoot one. They will be here at my local shop Thursday. This is one of the best looking bows I've seen in a while. I hope to have my own soon.

I shot a deadeye at BPS last weekend and to me, the draw was really stiff and harsh. It had a mountain of a hump to get over at the end of the draw! I agree with it being extremely top heavy. Wasn't too impressed by it...

That bow looks cheaply made. My Diamond Marquis has a two piece wood grip. It shoots smoothly with no shock or vibration in the shot. I love the Marquis better than my last bow which was a Drenalin.

I shot one yesterday and thought it was pretty nice. Its faster than mine and I thought the draw wasn't bad. It held really well because of the longer ATA in my opinion than my z7xtreme (no brainer, but I wasn't shooting longer distances either). Its hard to beat for the price as compared to other brand new bows in that price range. If you don't want to sacrifice getting less than par accessories because you bought an expensive bow and used all of your money, then this may allow you to get better equipment to go on it too because of the price. The fact remains that it is for some and not for everyone. I am not a professional critic though, so take it for what its worth.

Got my Deadeye yesterday after shooting the following bows: PSE Evo very nice but $$$, Vendetta XL (already have a 36in A2A bow) smoth but not as smooth as my 08 Commander, then shot the Bowtechs, Invasion again nice bit $$$ and a bit to small for me (may be mental block) Assassin again a nice bow but small, think it is the limb design, Also shot the Specialist dang nice bow. Moved on the next day and shot the 3 new Diamond bows, Outlaw, Fugitive and the Deadeye. I rated all the bows i shot based on my Commander. All the bows were much faster and louder and had more vibration/had shock. I was not surprised at all by the finding as I did not expect any of the new bows to be quieter than the Commander, but they were all a lot faster. After all was said and done I ended up getting the Deadeye as it speed was comparable to the Evo and Invasion and faster than all the others. The Vendetta was the Smoothest with the Outlaw and Fugitive the RTk package they were removed from consideration. I ended up with the Deadeye bare bow and put a Cobra Smoke 5 sight on it and a Trip Wire rest (Bad Choice) the Trip Wire is completely uncompilable with the Deadeye because of the short Brace height and the fact that the Trip Wire sits so far behind the rest. So I replaced the Trip Wire with a Rip Cord Code Red (Better Choice). I have about 40 shots through the bow and could not be happier. If flat out shoots the FLX Guard seems to tame this bow down a bit as compared to the Outlaw and Fugitive and I liked it better than the Assassin. Though not as nice as the Evo the cost difference was significant. Shoot-ability it was right on par with the Vendetta XL (VXL had a smoother draw) but the Deadeye had better wall and was 15fps faster. IMO the Deadeye could be the 2011 sleeper bow. Not for all as the Cam is definitely closer to pulling an Omen then any of then any other bow that I have tested. But even being 55 years I did not find it to harsh even at 72lbs. It is not as quiet as my Commander (not many bows are), but than again my Commander cannot come close to the speeds the Deadeye outputs. It is a straight shooter and holds nicely without any creep which is surprising considering its speed. I really like this bow.
