Not sure why that much drop ,going to my 125grns,as both my tornado, and Excalibur had that head closer .My Excalibur only had 2"drop difference at 48 yds.

I just tried some of these myself and I'm not at all impressed. Glad I shot them at 30yds before going out any farther. 5" left and 6" high at 30, my rage practice heads were dead center in the x. They look nice and they are sharp but you guys claiming field point accuracy, not even close!

    Are they claiming "field point accuracy" - which would technically be group size;

    or

"field point, point of impact" - which is where the same bolt will shoot with a field point vs the broadhead.

There is a major technical difference between the two. I know it's a play on words but that's what we have to contend with at times. It's a marketing ploy. Just because the group size may be the same does not mean that the point of impact will be the same.

That's why I'll stay with either spitfires or rage. Both fly just like field points.

That is because you are using the "Mag". it is too big a diameter....go with the standard 1". Much better arrow flight from a fast bow. That extra 1/8" will not make the deer anymore dead

I have shot the Slick Trick Mags out of 3 different vertical bows and 2 crossbows with the same results. The Mags would hit low and right of my field points out of all set ups. I just made a scope or sight adjustment to compensate for the broadheads and left the field tips in the tackle box.

As far as accuracy, they grouped well .But i still like them hitting were my field tips hit if that's possible .. the sidewinder was right there with my field points all three crossbows.

If u start testing groups with broad heads of any type, spine becomes a huge issue. Spine placement really become critical the faster the arrow is going.
Learned this on the ghost 400. Get all the arrow spines going the same direction, the arrows then go that same direction. Provided the inserts are exactly parallel to the shaft.
Even the field points will be close, though i did have a few flyers for some reason.

I have been using that G5 insert squaring tool, this does work too. Once u get the hang of it. thought about throwing it in the trash at first.

    heads

Been testing broad-heads for about 20 years and only post a little of what i do.Test with different shaftsbolts ,and arrows over the years .Today was just a basic test of a few heads, but only laser 2 bolts.

But im also going up in speed with each crossbow, and your right as i go up in speed,i also notice more change.

RapidPSUfan, there are photos on this thread that I hope will answer your questions:-) Post # 67 shows the ACCUdraw installed and, starting with post #93, it shows the installation process for the ACCUdraw 50. Securing the cocking rope handles to prevent them from rattling around was the biggest challenge. It works great and a bonus for me was that I use the housing cover for a chin rest on both crossbows.

I think there would be quite a demand for a custom fitting hard lockable case for bows as popular as the 380 and 350. The case would likely work with the new Maximus crossbow also.

Wyvern stated he may have found a case that may fit the Sz's. He said it will be a few weeks before he get's one and will let every one know.

An SKB quality hard case would be cool.
