Well,,,, I wish it had gone better ,,, 3rd. shot and broke a blade off in the rinehart, I guess when it broke it dug into the shaft, and cut a 1 inch groove in the shaft, all the way through to the lock n load insert, noticeably noisy in flight, a "whisp' noise to the target.

That sucks. 3 blade with two inch cut would have been awesome.

That looks different than the pictures on the website.

I bought some of these back when they were called Slayer Broadheads, before Dead Ringer bought them. Never got around to shooting them.

I think those are the Rampage Sam, mine are the "Freak Nasty". I guess I don't mind so much that the blade broke,
what disappoints me is the ferrule is ruined as not only the where the blade attaches on the one that broke, all 3 of the blade attachment area broke, hard to see in the pics, but they all almost completely broke out ..

    Yes, they are the Rampages.

...yes it's bad enough when the broadhead breaks, but when it damages the shift too that's a major bummer. Nothing like a $20-30 shot, and it's not even at something with antlers!

Im leaning towards slicks or reapers. Did shoot swackers last year and they worked good so thats always an option. To many decisions.

Nope not a single crossbow right now. I'm having a hard time deciding what bow to settle down with. Part of me wants a compact compound and the common sense side tells me I better go with a recurve. I sold two and plan on only buying one. I was going to get a shadow and 350 but I don't really need to spend that much money right now

Probably not because I don't enjoy cocking anything above the 330 and if I'm going to use a crank I'm getting one of the heavy hitters (380 or 405) and then I can use 20" arrows (which I personally prefer) and not stick past the stirrup. I think I've bought too many bows....I'm to the point where nothing out there is really appealing to me. What do you get when you've had about all of them.

Hey Pin, if I remember correctly, wasn't there a thread going on how many bows you would buy this year? I think you said, 2 or 3 bows maximum this year? Well, that was shot to hell back in about February!

So last week I picked up two SZ350s from my local Cabelas store. I learned two things:

    1. My local Cabelas bow service leaves much to be desired. To fix the timing on both xbows they were going to need over a week. Yet they claim to be a full service archery department. I should have known better, but I gave them a shot and they performed about how I thought they would.

    2. Bowtech/Stryker customer service is definitely improving. So last night I tried registering my "new" SZ350s. One of the two SZs serial numbers had already been registered. I was about to blow a gasket, but BT had a customer service # to call so I thought, its worth a shot before going back to Cabelas and ripping someone a new one. I called the number and got through right away and the gentlemen asked the serial number and then told me I should be all set to register it now. Sure enough got it registered no problem. Thanks BT.
