    big buck states

I was reading a magazine the other day and they had the top 4 states for producing big bucks, it was illinois iowa kentuck and ohio, i didnt even know kentucky was up there in the big buck states and i live 5 miles from there lol. I hunt in ohio myself and one thing i have noticed, and i dont know if i have noticed it because i hunt there or not but on most tv shows the kill absolute giants in ohio, as a matter of fact if i can recall i have seen more 200" bucks killed in ohio than any other state, but that is just my observation what do you guys think about it?

Bowhunter magazine just gave Kentucky the number one spot to book a nonresident hunt, in which you would have the greatest chance at a B&C buck. The article was a good read and took numerous things into account. After reading it, it made sense to me.

Western KY is where the majority of the big deer come from. The eastern part of the state isn't really known for their big deer with the exception of Lewis Co.....

z7master167....where do you live at friend? Gonna bet you're pretty close to my neck of the woods. Wayne county? Cabell county? Mingo? Only a few places you can live in WV and be in KY that quick

I would have to say Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, and Texas are the best states.

Not to crap on z7master167's thread but is anyone else getting tired of people saying or making threads that say
''no big bucks in our state, nothing to see here.''etc. I find it especially funny when the people saying it are from states that are not known for producing big deer and are just full of themselves!

@ excal tgey are saying that to try to keep the attention away they dont want outta staters comin in and intruding cant say i much blame them thats one thing i have noticed over the years everytime a huntin show is n tv in ohio they kill giants which in turn make other people want to hunt the state. Just like i was hunting public land and i saw a few monsters well i guess i told to many people and the next year i couldnt hardly find a parkin spot.
