yes, it came from a reliable source. My plan was to look at one for my son too but now I'm going to wait until the 2012 comes out and probably get a cheaper soldier. A heartbreaker is still a possibility too.

Heartbreaker is in a higher price range and doest not have the dw adjustability that the Soldier does (40 - 65 lbs). I hope that they replace it with another "youth" model.

I guess that the reason would be that the D340 is close in specs to the Invasion. I don't understand why Bowtech would not want to have a youth model in their lineup - hope that they have Soldier-type model.

The destroyer 340 had the same problem as the 101 airborn, the 82nd and d350 are just as accurate and faster so there was basically no advantage to the bow by having the extra brace height.

Most of the new models will be released at the ATA show.

Well for me the advantage was 1" of dl that the 350 doesnt have. Hopefully they bring out one with 31 inches that is one of their flagships

I thought the 340 ballanced alot nicer than the 350, Was another reason I haven't moved to the invasion as well, hopefully a longer version would balance allitle better.

Actually read on here that there is indeed rumor of a 34 ata invasion! not sure how solid the rumor is but if they do that I am sure lots of 2011 invasion will be for sale!

I have a question. if I wait till the new bowtech bows come out for 2012, will I still be able to order a black ops 2011 invasion from a dealer? or will they only sell the new bows? I dont want to buy used, but want to wait and see if the new bows impress me.

I would like to see a 28" ata version of the invasion 7" BH capable of 340 fps , this would be a deer killing machine , love those small ata bows for hunting ,

i heard the same thing about the 340 and the soldier today from bowtech, they said people would buy the razors edge over the soldier because of the price and they had sold alot more razors edge bows than soldiers so they were doing away with it. i guess its because the razors edge is offered at dicks and other box stores, instead of being a dealer only bow that made the difference. i actually liked the soldier and our shop sold a pretty good bit of them. im just glad the specialist is still there, but both of my 340s will stay in the stable also. they are shooting too well to get rid of, but im curious to see what they come up with this year in a flagship bow.

Yes I know, but I feel it is a bit better quality. I was going to have my son shoot both to see what he likes best. I would also think they would come out with another model that would fit the bill for something as adjustable as the soldier.
