Get the book "Archery Strong" its in the Lancaster Archery catalog. The workout only takes 30 minutes a week, and after you do it a few weeks you will NEVER got tired while shooting.

Nothing helps to build up muscle for archery then archery! Just pull your bow back and hold it for 7-10 seconds. Let down then repeat. Do 5 sets of that for a weekish at the same draw weight, then increase it 1-3 lbs.

Oh and handstand pushups are simply fantastic for strength! They work your shoulders so much you will be able to eventually take a little nap on your shoulder muscle haha.

Pushups and pull ups are great. But don't forget your legs, and you core as well. Got to have a strong base and midsection to keep stable while shooting. P90x is highly recommended for overall conditioning.

I'm a fan of pullups, deadlifts, cleans, snatches and bent over rows. Also handstand presses, planche progressions etc.

Get rubber cords from Walmart in weight lifting area. mount to wall or close in door at bow drawing level and go from there.
