Greetings!
We were cleaning out my parent's estate, and found a long bow with metal tips on either end with the Lowe & Campbell logo decal. Stamped below the logo is "R 70" and "35". These last items may be serial #'s, model #'s or simply the inventory # of a local school.
From the internet, Lowe & Campbell was around until 1931.
I know my Mother and her sisters were all in the Girl Scouts. We have pictures of them in their uniforms with bows in hand. Since Mom was born in the early 1920's, the photos were probably taken in the 1930's.
Can anyone help us with the history of this bow? Where can we find the $ value of this item? We fear that if we put it in an estate sale it will probably be sold at garage sale pricing.
Thanks!
Al
