    First Elk hunt ever... Me and my buddy did a DIY hunt in OTC Colorado unit. Hooked for life, but I'm still sick of mountain house meals!

    Nice job cudaback! It's not often a couple of newcomers come into the sport and bag a good bull right off the bat. I guess you guys will find out this season if it was beginners luck!

    well after 4 or 5 weeks I ready to come home. I love the west ,but still love home deer hunting

    Im with you, you can have all the whitetails, give me the mountains and elk or mule deer any day over stand hunting in michigan.
