There is a reason why most hunter who live in an area where they have the choice to hunt other game are not big whitetail hunters

So true. I didn't even whitetail hunt when I got home until nov 6th. shot a decent michigan 8, and then duck hunted for the remainder of the season. Can't beat Michigan's waterfowl.

Here's my 2 bulls from years past... Last one was 2009. Both are rifle kills, haven't been lucky enough with my bow yet on elk. Keep in mind, in BC, our bow season for elk is only 9 days long and for any bull, and after that it's rifle season for 6 point or better bulls. Happy as hell with them though, hoping to add another this fall!

I found this rub during a late season elk hunt in Az a few years ago

Me, after climbing Motherf'er hill last year. The pic does not do the hill justice.

Why can't it be this easy? Estes Park Golf Course

Yes last year I had a estes park tag. I seen more in town than I did hunting

Some nice bulls in 20 but like you said "in town", in the yards, or on Sylvan Dale Ranch. If your going to get a draw license, look at 19 if you need to stay in that general area.
