Real World Speed: Elite Answer vs Strother Wrath?

Anyone shoot the Elite Answer and Strother Wrath, same draw length, same draw weight, shooting same arrow.
Comparing apples to apples the best one can, how do these two stack up against each other?
I know the Wrath has more brace height and wondering if the speed though was still up with the Answer?

I am only getting 268 fps with 420 grain arrow, 70lbs at 28 draw out of the answer.

Elite Answer Smooth Mods - 60.1 lbs, 29 1/8", 6.85" Brace Height, 300 Grain Arrow = 310.4 fps (15.1 fps per inch of power stroke)

Strother Wrath - 60.1 lbs, 29", 8.155" Brace Height, 300 Grain Arrow = 301.6 fps (15.8 fps per inch of power stroke)

Both bows are very tame at the shot.

So the Answer is. 318 IBO bow? I thought this bow was supposed to be a lot faster.

Real World Speed: Elite Answer vs Strother Wrath?

I have a 2013 Answer on order and am really curious how it stacks up to my Hoyt CE RKT. I am a 30" draw 70lb pull and am shooting a 477g FMJ at 280 with my current setup. I'm hoping the Answer can get close to that.

Funny how the answer and the wrath have the same speed rating (330) but the answer shoots 10 fps faster at same specs. Outdoor life tested the wrath at IBO specs (70#, 30" draw, 350 grain arrow) and it only hit 311 fps.

The elite rep was just at the local shop and I got to shoot the 2013 answer, which I have on order as well. Very nice to say the least. I chronoed the answer as well. It had 60 lb limbs bottomed out and 29" smooth mods. It had a loop and the little rubber dampners on the string, no peep. It had an octane hostage for a rest. It shot a 318 gr arrow at 308 fps. Running numbers in my arrow speed app puts this bow right there at 330 ibo...at 61-62 lbs. I did not measure the draw weight . I would say it was basically spot on.

Someone from Strother Archery posted a while back on another forum, that their chrony´s were calibrated after a chrony of one of their string suppliers and they found out later the numbers were a tad high.

The wrath has 1.3+ inches of brace height? I'm surprised the answers brace is that short. I guess

I agree. The Wrath is getting very respectable speeds out of a huge 8" brace.
