Replacement Axcel Armortech Pins
I purchased the Axcel Armortech 2 years ago and have really enjoyed everything about the sight, with one little exception. I ordered the sight with all .010" pins. and I would like to swap out the first couple of pins for .019". After stumbling on the thread below I think I am going to attempt swapping the pins out myself.
For those of you that have swapped pins on this sight, I have 2 questions:
1- What color configuration do you like most (outdoor target and hunting)...I seem to have difficulty seeing the red pin in low light situations
2- Where is the best place to buy replacement pins? I searched the Axcel website but couldn't find replacement pins only

This is what they replied to me when I inquired about having some .010 pins added to my sight...

Do it yourself, but that is just me. Factor in the cost of packing/shipping, $12 for each pin you want, and an additional $15 labor charge. Save yourself the money on shipping and labor and do it yourself. It is very easy to do.
As far as pin brighhtness, the green ones always stand out to me..... And just order the pins directly from Axcel. You will just have to figure out which pin configuration you want as the pins are different to allow for adjustment. It is in my instructions. I'm sure Axcel can help you with this, but you will have to open up your sight to see what pin configuration you have now.
Bow-less at the moment. Currently shopping......

May want to look at the HS pins also. I have replaced all 3 of my sights with the HS pins. Like them better and the Green and Red for me, the orange I can hardly see.
