    Mathews or PSE

I have it narrowed down to either the PSE EVO 7 or Mathews MR7. Which is the better hunting bow and why? The reason I am looking at both these are due to the 7 inch brace height.

For what its worth. I had the Mr6 and now the new evo6 and the evo is far more superior in every department imo.

The grip alone would be enough for me to pick the EVO. Help set up my sons new EVO this pass weekend. What a smooth drawing bow. Mel

The Evo. It is really just that good. Smooth, fast, accurate, and quiet. The grip is just good. It holds well and balances well

I have been considering one for myself.

I like the draw on PSE but takes me a bit to get used to the grip... but I can get used to it.. EVO definite more bang for buck.. sadly it doesn't go long enough on the draw for me..

I would go with the evo. I love my Dream Season Evo and man it has the best grip for sure and since I have to admit I am kind of a pse fanboy which is fine I would go with the evo. The mathews might get just a few fps more but you will get more bang for your buck with the evo. The riser I think is just as good as a hoyt carbon riser. It really controls which way it flexs which is front to back which is what you want. Also the limb pocket design is foolproof. The only way you are getting PART of the limb out is if it snaps. That limb is in there for sure! But bottom line, what we say is what we say, It is best for you to shoot both and decide. My vote is PSE!

^^^^^This. Do not buy a bow based on what others tell you to buy. Shoot em both and let the bow pick you.
