Was looking online today for a present for my soon to be brother-in-law who will be 7 next week, and came across a Ufinish bow for 29 bucks from GI Bow. They offer a pistol grip option, but I was thinking about building the bow with the little guy as much as possible ourselves. So while he doesnt have to have a pistol grip on his bow I thought it might be cool to make one ourselves. Any advise regarding glue up, clamping, material choice etc.? I am a total noob when it comes to bow building, but figure this might be an easy step towards making my own from scratch. The goal is to allow him to make his bow how he wants it so for all I know it might end up teal with orange polka dots, but i think it will be a good time for the both of us.
