    Anyone after turkeys this spring?

Who here in the state of Maine going after turkeys this spring with a bow?
This will be my second year trying for them. I had pretty good luck last year. I shot a 16 pound jake.
    Good luck to all.

Will be headed out Mon. morning, bow in hand. Hopefully the first tom to walk within twenty yards will meet Mr. Hammerhead. Will only be hunting till 9am. Told a friend I would help him get the rear axle out of a '56 ford in Penoscott and he has to do it Mon. LOL Mel

This will be my third year trying with a bow. Got a double beard monster my first year and skunked the last two. Absolutely love the interaction wether I get a shot or not. Nothing better then having a Tom sneak up and gobble about 30 yards from you to make your back hairs stand on end.

This is my 3rd year after turkeys with a bow also. Have shot at 2 so far stupid mistakes and all. LOL..
Have givin up on the bow for the rest of this year 2 many coyotes around were I hunt and can't get the bow up fast enought to get a wack at them. So the ol' 12 guage has been going instead. Now that I have done that I have not seen a coyote. Go figure
    Good luck to you all
