    Welcome to a new addiction.. Think 3D, only better. You can get a months worth of 3D shots in one field round. Plus, you'll need to get a pin set outside that 40-45 yard mark.

    And inside that 20 yard mark!

    Think you can get someone with some stroke to hang those targets early? I'd love to shoot a round on Saturday or Sunday afternoon......or even Monday morning before I have to hit the road again. I'll even do it if someone can give me some clear directions.

    Does this start with a handicap round like indoor? I've got to start getting my sandbagging plan together.

    That's a premeditated DQ isn't it....

    Or you could just use the equipment failure plan...

    I'll try and be there. Had fun last year, and I could use the walking.

    Tony, you will need some pins. We can't wait all night for you to set your yardage.

    I'm in! I had to manipulate my schedule (almost as much as my handicap ) but I'm in! I've been soooo looking forward to this! You'd think it's like the ASA Classic for me or something.

    edit- if I play this stuff enough that I ever actually begin to understand the handicap, you guys are in trouble! I'm sure Ted thinks I'm mathematically challenged (or worse) because I quiz him constantly on it.

    Stop it.. Your handicap will be ZERO. Just like it was for indoor.

    Handicap = (max_score minus current_score) * 80%.

    So, when you shoot a 280 on the field course, 280 - 280 = 0. 0 times 0.80 is still 0; so you get a zero. But please, for the love of all things sane, don't drop a point or we'll have to get into rounding and that's a whole new issue.

    How. Much money and do you gotta join anything to shoot? Can I shoot a crossbow if my new compound isn't here yet? My recurve needs a string or I'd shoot that.

    Thanks for the vote of confidence but I think my score from sooner summer games last year might've been my personal best and it was nowhere near clean.

    You have my word that I'm giving it my best shot though. I still have a chip on my shoulder that I never posted up a 60 during indoor this year.

    Of course. I've found that my tips improve substantially when it shows a little.

    Where were you? I thought we'd run our handicaps up together.
