I read this article, and it is not about the wedding of gays is it? It is about renting out church owned facilities for the wedding reception of gays. Legally, this could go either way, I think. Personally, I cannot imagine renting a reception hall where I was not welcome or accepted, even if I was in some "protected class". You are supposed to have a good time at a wedding reception, and this would not be the start of any good time! Like most, I resent anyone pushing their agenda.

Some here speak as if all "hate" is evil. Hate has a legitimate place. We are supposed to "hate" sin. It is commendable to "hate" sin and wrongdoing. So just to call out "haters gonna hate" is not a put down IMO. Does not hurt my sensibilities even one iota.

Obviously. You are quite adept at bashing Christians though. Almost an art form for you.

Since you bring it up, though, who here has murdered gays?

In fact, I'm not really sure I've seen much 'bashing' of gays either; primarily a debate of the morality of their lifestyle…which I am assuming is what the new *tolerant* left refers to as *bashing*…

Well Indy you are free to debate anything I post that you think is *bashing* xians and you can also push the complaint button.

Since you haven't... I can only assume no bashing on my end.

    Have a nice day.

    Have a nice day.

Because I haven't debated ridiculous pictures/statements and haven't registered a complaint, then it isn't 'bashing'?

Oh, and my day is going quite nicely, as a matter of fact. Thanks for the consideration.

It's just more of that old thing we've been doing since this nation was founded, closing the loopholes so that everybody is free. Even blacks, and womens, and gays.

Anyways, who would want a reception at a church? Any of those that I've been to don't serve alcohol, and music is even unlikely. I guess it's ok if you want the shortest, least memorable reception ever.

What does the law say? I think you still have the right to refuse service to anyone, you just can't use "cause you are fruits" as the reason.
If you operate a business, you might have to follow the law

You mean the group helping to protect YOUR first amendment rights?

    Don't know, ask them.

They are squelching the First Amendment rights of Christians and bent on ridiculing the ones remaining.

Sure. The Klan can demonstrate on our State House lawn but Christians can't display a nativity scene despite the fact that most people are Christians and almost nobody is in the Klan.

Richard Dawkins tells all his disciples to ridicule Christianity every chance they get and we can see how obedient they are on this forum.

Do you have specific examples of the Klan having religious demonstration on the State House Lawn?

Would you be all for the Klan demonstrating on Church property? Including there burning of crosses since that's what they have been doing for so many years and it's just *tradition*?

Whose stopping xian from putting a nativity scene on church property?

That's his opinion. What does your church preach about homosexuality and atheist?

    Anymore examples?

    I'm not for the Klan.

    Nobody

They don't preach anything about homosexuality or atheism. We have beliefs. We aren't forced to attack others beliefs because we don't have any.

    Anymore examples?

I've already posted all the lawsuits brought by the FFRFers. You may refer to those.

    What, no stooges this time?

Yes, this time and every time. If I should forget to refer to Dawkin's disciple as stooges I ask that you consider it to be implied.

Are you familiar with the Constitution? Even if every single American was a Christian, it would still be unconstitutional to display religious symbols on government property. Why is this so hard to understand? If you want a state church, move to a country that has one. I hear they're great places to be.

If atheists spoke out against the Klan I'd have a lot more respect for them.

Yea, but the Klan's for Christianity.

    Nobody
Then no need to bring it up again

SOME would get infractions or vacations for personal attacks. Guess you have to be reported for that to happen.
