Hoyt stratus plus - limb bolts, how far out?
A friend has just given me his Stratus Plus to re string and cable, he also wants to drop the draw weight
The bow has Carbonite split limbs and has been fitted with A2 Accu wheels
My question is how far can the limb bolts safely be backed off?
With the thread 1 turn into steel below the hole below the locking screw, there's over half the sliding side lock left to go, is this just for show or can the bolts be backed off so that you can see the limb bolt ends through the lock screw hole?

I know this is late but you never know it might help. You can back it out all the way till the bolt that runs through hits the back of the catch. IMG_6292.jpg Selling one. http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1937032
I REFUSE TO SHOOT ANYTHING BESIDES WIN&WIN.
