A SoCal Newbie
Hey guys and gals, Rusty here. I've been thinking about getting into compound bow shooting for awhile now. And I'm finally taking the plunge, Hopefully this weekend will be my first time heading to the range. The wife and I will be heading out to Hi-Tech Archery this weekend. There is a possibility that I will be a bow on layaway if I find that I do enjoy this sport. One of my main questions is About how much am I looking at spending for a set up? Keep in mind I'm not looking for the best bow on the market today, just A good reliable bow I can shoot for awhile. I wouldn't even mind a used bow. also, what are some tips you think somone who is just getting into this should know, looking forward to hearing for all of you.

Why worry? If you worry - you die. If you don't worry - you'll still die. So why worry?

Welcome to ArcheryTalk!
If there is a way to shoot myself in the foot, I would most likely miss anyway.
