    Rage Freak broadhead?

Just picked a pack up at Dicks, didnt know rage made them until i got home and looked them up.
They are a dead ringer for a swhacker.Over the top blade deployment and 1.75 cut.
Anyone seen these yet?they are not on the rage website.

Yeah the price is right but I just worry about being able to find them next year. Hopefully they come out with replacement blades for them.

$29.99 a pack and it uses rubber bands. Down fall is that they don't come with extra rubber bands.

they look like straight knock-offs of schwackers. why would they stick to their sooo popular slipcam?

  17. #17
When I bought them, I thought they were rear deployment like the rage because on the package it states that they are reverse deployment but after openening them they fold back.

You haters need to remember that the owners of Rage hold all of Bruce Barries patents which would include the Rocky Mountain Snyper pre evolution Rage and the Gator XP a over the top head that looks just like the Freak with razor tip and Shwacker without the razor tip. Looks like Shwacker is the nock off.

Its really a mix of the RM snyper and gator. Snyper for the use of the rubber band and gator basically the same design but with a 1/4" smaller cutting dia.

Gator's are awesome and now sold by Bass Pro only. Or at least they were last year when I was using them.
