The "real world broadhead test"!...everyone participates!!!!!

As you may know I did a broadhead test a few months back that took fairly well, most people enjoyed it. But as I know and you all know, it was not real world testing, it was simply building a contraption that i thought would be good for testing penetration, durability, etc. Their have been plenty of comments on that thread and through a ton of personal messages that if I want to see how a broadhead, arrow, bow, etc. works then go shoot live animals. Ok, I will, and so will all of you and we will post every kill, the equipment used (arrows, bow, broadheads), and some other valuable information that will be obtained. Their will be very strict requirements in posting your information on the spreadsheet, all pictures that i will need and equipment specs, what happened during the hunt, etc. will all have to go through me first for evaluating before posting. Look at it as the Modern Day Dr. Ashby Testing. But on a far greater level with far more and different equipment used. THE ANIMAL MUST BE RECOVERED. The last broadhead test thread was flooded with alot of talking in between actual testing. Therefore this thread will be stickied for everyone to see but not to post on it. I will have a seperate thread started as well for discussions of the testing only. The main point behind all of this is pretty simple. Real world testing, different bows, broadheads, arrows, draw weights, draw lengths, different shots taken on game, different game animals. You cannot get any more real than this. Sure I could do it myself but I dont want too. It would take 25 years and a bunch of money I dont want to spend! So if this is truly archers helping archers then this thread will be some of the best data ever recorded for us to study and look back on. This isn't a competition. I understand way more heads of certain brands are sold. This will not be flooded with 1,000 x brand heads and 1 of y brand heads. I don't feel I need results of 1,000 of the same head. Here is a breakdown of the spreadsheet. Remember pictures will be required for proof. This needs to be Honest and true to the best of our capabilities.
    1. Your name
    2. Bow Make/model...Ibo speed
    3. Arrow make/ model...total weight
    4. Broadhead make/ model
    5. Est. shot distance ( IN YARDS)
    6. Shot placement
    7. Pass through, (yes, or no)
    8. What bone was hit (if any, example, please do not just say shoulder. was it scapula? or was it the shoulder joint where leg bone meets? )
    9. Tracking distance ( in yards )
    10. Entrance hole size ( must have picture, with broadhead next to entry hole)
    11. Exit hole size ( must have picture with broadhead next to exit hole) NOT REQUIRED FOR A NON-PASSTHROUGH....OBVIOUSLY.
    12. Game animal killed.

This all may look like alot to you but with just a few extra minutes in the field evaluating some of this crucial information will speak volumes to other hunters. We are helping each other out to the fullest extent.

    *****THIS IS IMPORTANT******
Here is how I want this to shake out. You make your kill. You will then PM me your information above, including picks if applicable. I WILL THEN ENTER IT INTO SPREADSHEET AND POST THE PICS. IF JOE BOB WAS THE 10TH PERSON TO CONTACT ME WITH THEIR KILL. THEN I WILL POST IT IN THIS STICKIED THREAD AND SAY "RESULTS #10" AND POST PIC. so then YOU can hop on the spreadsheet, look at the 10th entry and their is the results for joe bob's pictures you just seen. If you have already killed game animals please send me the info and it will be posted.

I honestly hope everyone jumps on board with this because it will literally be the most detailed, hands on, real world test.

    Big Game?, birds?, varmints?, chipmunks?

Are there any game animal parameters or restrictions?

As you can see from the requirements, it's more than just broadheads. everything important will be accounted for.

The info is supposed to be sent to Sethro through a p.m. Technically he is the only one to post up on here after info has been evaluated and placed on the spreadsheet. If you wouldn't mind deleting the post and allowing him to review the info first it would be appreciated. The instructions are in the initial post. Thanks.
