Will be a shorter faster heli m more than likely. What they should make is a 32-34" single cam IMO.

I heard the new mathews flagship bow is going to be called the "METHANE".

I'd like to see a shorter, lighter, more compact monster. I love my MR6 as a 3-D bow, but I'd like to lighten it up a bit for the woods

I shoot the Z7Xtreme better than I shot the Reezen, Z7 and the EZ7. I would like to see a 29-30 ATA, 7 1/2" BH Monster.

I hope they do something to strengthen their risers. I've heard a lot of people frustrated with Heli-m risers being bent in the press getting them set up.

If I saw a 34" ATA with a 6 inch brace height and 345 fps that weighed just under 4 pounds, there's a good chance that I'd be shooting it at my dealer and an even better chance I'd be leaving with it if it shot half as nice as my HeliM!

If history repeats itself,it will be a shorter Heli-m.Unless they come out with something completely different like they did after the reezen.I for one hope it is something different because I'm not a fan of the Heli-m.

Dont have to go lighter for me. My wife shoots the Jewel and it is an incredable bow. THe heli'm is light but I like the toughness of the stronger rollerguard and dampeners. I do like the stop on the cam for the heli'm. Would like to see that on this years bows. Speed is not as much of a need as smoothness and shock free, that is why i love Matthews. I would like to see a 34+ ATA bow from them though. Maybe for giggles throw in the narrow grib for fun.

I'll weigh in as far as a wish list:
33-34" ata HeliM ( I know the Magnum is close, but...)
37" target bow (I don't consider the Monster a target bow, but don't tell Levi that)
adjustable draw stop pegs on all bows

and yeah, a lighter, less bulky Monster might be interesting.......

Only the fastest, quietest, smoothest shooting Mathews bow ever...

  24. #24
I doubt you'll ever get a version of the helium to be as dead in hand as the z7. For one, the z7 has the weight to make it so smooth. The helium is light and aggressive for Mathews, so it's obviously going to have a little kick. I shot a helim at 67lbs and it had more recoil then a carbon element at 64lbs which was suprising. I think if mathews is going to make a light fast bow they need to just go ahead and do it big, make one that flings arrows FAST.

Would not mind seeing a MR 7 with dual limb stops incorporated into the cams! :-)
