    First Rage kill....Carnage pics

Killed my first deer of the year with a Rage Broadhead (first Rage kill also) this evening and let me tell you I'm very very impressed. I shot the deer at 15 yards and it went straight threw the shoulder and right out the deers neck. It was somewhat quartering away from me. The deer ran about 35 yards and dropped dead. I didn't need the bloodtrail but let me tell you it was by far the best one I have ever seen with it being about 6inches wide and just absolutely covered the ground. I'm shooting a Mathews DXT at about 55lbs. Here is a pic of the entry hole.

They dislike them because they make bad shots and then thats their excuse to make themselves feel better.....

Congratulations. I Love the rage heads ( 2 - blade ), last year was my trial year for them and went 3 for 3, all pass through's. This year I got the chisel tips to try, and they are 1 for 1 with yet another pass through.

Were you using standard Rage ? Or a chisel tip. I am leaning towards the chisel now. Have had great success with the original 2 blade

I'm just using the standard 2 blade Rage.

Honestly I've had this Mathews DXT for about 3-4 years and I don't really remember what my draw is but I'm thinking its either 26 1/2 or 27 inches...I'm only 5'6"
