Which days to kill a buck in December?

Moon is overhead in the morning on December 6-9

Moon is overhead in the evening on December 17-19

Which time period do you like better to kill a buck?

There is so much more to it than moon phase IMO....that's just one piece of the puzzle. I look at the weather more than the moon phase.

IMO late season is all about food and weather. I love hunting viable food sources on cold days this time of year.

Definitely but if I were to plan a couple days off in advance.

All factors considered, moon, maybe some second rut, hopefully cold.

If you had to schedule it ahead which would you think?

Watch and see what date the main rut starts in November. Then 30 days later the second rut will start. That's when you want to be out.
