So I am looking to upgrade my rest. I have a bunch of cash on amazon that i would like to get rid off (I really dislike amazon but they are the ones who bought my textbooks back so I have to spend the cash). They dont carry as much archery stuff as I would like, but they do carry the aae free flyte rest. Since the highly recommended champion 2 magnetic flipper rest is no longer available, I was wondering if this would be a better option.
I am starting to learn more about tuning, and would like to get a rest that is adjustable. Currently I have a hoyt super rest, but it is pretty worn out. I am also starting to use a clicker, and i know adjustments need to be made via the rest/plunger to compensate (ie the arrow "bouncing" off the plunger because of the pressure of the clicker). I have a basic cartel plunger that i can use for adjustments.
So what do ya'll think about this rest. Good investment? I can really only buy stuff on amazon at the moment until I get some other cash, so if you see anything else on there that would be better, please let me know.
ps - some specs. im shooting 27" 1816 jazz arrows with 100 gr points, plastic vanes, 30 pound limbs with the bolts cranked all the way in. Have not bare shaft tested, but I dont see any kick out issues like I did with the way overspined carbons I used to be shooting. The arrows fly nice and straight, and group well.
