The motive is not bad , it feels good with the draw(little stiff) and shot and is fast. But is has a awful back wall and pretty short valley. The bow we got in has strings that look like seconds and was out of time, which I got everything back into spec and the wall still wasn't there. The rep was in the day before with all the bows and his strings didn't look like the Motive we got or the Method we have. But the backwall is the same on all 5 bows I have shot.

Now saying that I do like the bow, but they need to get the the sponge out of the backwall.
I was just comparing it to the Rush for the noise level. I certainly don't think they shoot the same.

I haven't had a chance to just yet. I'll be sure to make a thread about it when I do. Hopefully it'll be in the next week or two.

Bear Motive 6 Chronograph test (Pic heavy)

Just found this thread and after waiting a month for bear to ship me a 60# method I bought a 70# motive last night. I think the back wall felt pretty good and heck I chose this over the insanity, creed, and chill.

Very nice seeing Bear be a lot closer to specs. Best line up by far they have produced to date .

    Bear is the real deal!!!!!
I've been saying it for years.
My Bear Strike was slightly above IBO rating. In fact all my Bear Bows were right on or slightly above IBO rating.

Not knocking Bear at all so don't take this the wrong way. The Bear in the past fell way short of the IBO ratings and as much as 15fps from my testing.

Either way , they are definitely headed in the right direction and this year they stepped it up

AWESOME, bin wating for this sinse they announced the bow! im gettin this 1Jan 2013

I have the Motive 6 and I am VERY impressed. Extremely quiet for a bow with an IBO of 350. I love the hybrid cams, and the back wall seems to be firm, but I may do custom strings in the future.

Really good to see some independent testing on bows, and particularly happy to see the new Motive 6 hit within 10fps of IBO right out of the box. (Mind you I'm coming off last years Anarchy which got a new IBO rating this year.)

With a fine tune, there shouldn't be any reason for this bow to meet or exceed that 350fps. Thanks for taking the time to conduct this level of testing and review.

Very impressive results compared to Bear's bows of past years! The Motive looks to be right on as far as IBO ratings go. Good test review man

Thanks for the great info... My anarchy does not seem to be even close to the claimed ibo for 2012, still a great bow, but glad to see this year bear is holding true to its impressive ibo claims.

HAHA no it just means that you may have to have 2 really nice bows now. I like how my Anarchy fits me too much to get rid of it now.

The motive 6 ,g5 impact and DNA are the three most impressive new bows for 2013 that I have shot .

Have to agree, well sorta. Comparing a Motive to a Rush is like comparing a Glock to a Taurus... The Motive is by far the superior bow. Yes, I owned a Rush for a couple of weeks.

You can't really compare the 2. The Bear is a Hybrid cam while the Rush is a Binary.

Impressive speeds. Bear certainly is producing some quality bows. I have an Anarchy...love it and have carried it all over the backcountry. I am anxious to try some of their new lineup.

I have yet to shoot a bear bow that I liked. Have not shot the '13 lineup yet so who knows.
