Your cats look great Don. I'm thinking about dabbling in Barebow compounds. It would have to be a Martin of course!.

This is my 08 Firecat Pro-X. Specs are in my signature, except it doesn't mention the Loesch grip and my own design torque reducing cable guard rod with Saunders Hyper-Glide Slide and custom quiver mount. The quiver mount essentially made the G5 Head-Loc into a Tight-Spot due to how close the quiver is to the riser now and positioned back for better balance. Some may notice the quiver mounting block isn't what comes with the G5 - that pic was taken when I still had and used a Kwikee Combo 4-arrow quiver. It's primarily my hunting bow but serves well as my fun bow too.

New Jaguar, just got it for Christmas; kisser button was home-made (works like a charm), two pins and the SRF sight from 3Rivers for sights; neoprene sling and Bowjax 3" stabilizer from SportsmansGuide; whiskers for the string and strip pads for the string contact areas on the limbs. Haven't got a rest picked out yet, having some trouble in that category so as of now it is still just the one that came with it.

    2011 Martin Ridge Hunter

    I really like this bow
It's fast (yes it's within it's advertised IBO speed)
    It's very quiet
    smooth draw and release
    Absolutely no kick
    no noticeable vibe
    great grip, very accurate.
I love the lightness of it fully dressed out.

I like the riser, the way it's engineered, it's more broad or stretched out. It holds rock steady!!
I know the riser has something to do with how well it shoots.

BEST MARTIN I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!

That's a pretty good looking setup. What is the good and the bad with the centerest? And can you use vanes or do you have to stick with feathers?

Thanks; to be honest with you i'm pretty new to this and the centerest is the only rest i've used for more than a few shots but to me it feels pretty solid and consistent. I hear it's also supposed to be pretty easy to install but the guy at my archery shop took care of that for me. I believe it does work with vanes as well as feathers.
