I owe you one for sending me in that direction. That Alien and I were meant to be together. I will be looking for another one to shoot indoor with. I have to admit martin does indeed make the finest shooting bows I have had the chance to play with. I was just teasing about the camera... I may look for an Alien Z for indoor since it is just a bit longer.

New to the forums. I've been reading lots of posts the past few months since I've decided to update my stable. Here's what I've currently got for now. Early 90's Martin Firecat, handed down from my Dad. Also a Howatt Hunter (no idea what year, know it is also old) my Dad gave me that he picked up really cheap (like $50) at a yard sale one day. Nothing wrong with either bow, they definately shoot much better than I can. I'm looking to update the stable with either a 2013 Bengal, or the new version, the 2014 Eclypse. My dad has taken many deer, and an elk with that old Firecat. I've only taken, one, but not for lack of trying. Missed a doe last year, and an elk a few years back. Was the loose nut behind the bolt's fault

Love the carving on the riser for the Fire Cat, I also need to update that old rest
    DSCN2916.jpg
Also love the riser, and the wood grain on the Hunter, as I read somewhere else on this thread (I think), it is "The Original Speed Bow". This thing flings them with a 55# dw faster than my dad's Hatfield takedown with 62# limbs.

Yes that bow rack has deer feet on it My dad made it for me, from a deer I got with the Firecat after coming home from Iraq.

2011 Onza 3. Not the best picture but you get the idea. Also have the gopro on the end of the stabalizer. Actually like the added weight. Flash makes my bow look like 3 different colors...

I gave like 300 bucks for it. Super surprised at the performance. Not the fastest bow (high ibo speeds but must be setup for such) but i have had great success with consistency.

Switched to easton axis the other day and started getting complete pass throughs in my target bag. Somthing I never came close to with my xt hunters/expidition hunters and several CX.

This will be the first year with my gopro 3+ black. Cant wait to see how it works.

The Onza might be the first bow I buy...don't know why I just like the look of the Onza but I'm not really a fan of the bridged riser look...just wish I could shoot one before I make my decision
