I pulled the dampener out to the middle of the string stop half way between the rubber stop and the riser and it took care of the vibration and noise of the string stop.
If you leave the dampener against the riser, then you have most of the hollow tube sticking out to vibrate.

I drilled a tiny hole in the end of mine, that let the silicone go in much easier.

I melted a plastic fishing worm in the microwave........ let it get cool enough I could touch it and poked/crammed in the hole with my fingers...... then packed it in tight with an allen wrench.

Anyone have a set of Vapor Trails on their Destroyer? Pics? My D350 Limited Edition is at the shop along with the sights, just waiting on the rest.

I'm narrowed down to 2 rest ripcord s.o.s or trophy taker smackdown pro....any thoughts? I have been using qad for years but recently I have had 3 different ones begin to "stick" and I can't imagine that happening on a big bull this September

I need allen head machine screws to mount a kazaway rest I picked up here on the classifieds (didn't come with them). Anyone know the thread and length to mount? I'll pick some up at the hardware store. It's a 2013 350LE.

Asome of these locking rests that hold the arrow in the up position can lock up if they get dirty or dirt in them. I have actually seen this in some 3D shoots.

I hope it doesn't happen. I don't still hunt, I hunt from a tree stand or a pop up here in Texas, so I don't see mine getting very dirty.

I'm gonna try one of these. I may leave it with all black dampeners.
