Hornet's Send Em' To The Pine Distance Shoot -- Week 4

Alright folks...time to get this shin ding kicked off.....

We have some new and OLD faces joining in this week I see. Glad to see some old names dusting off the bows. Also see that some are still skeered to come take a splinter

Get a couple more practice ends in and then we will get started....hope I didn't work to hard today and can get these aging bones loosened up

Sorry I can't stick around guys - not that I would last too long anyway. Work in the morning and all that. Enjoy.

gonna be a week monday...work, birthday, ice fishing...maybe a ride on the pine is a deserved break? Nah...

Shooters to the line for the 2nd Practice End.....

If you need "extra practice"...you better shoot an arrow at the bar code...I don't want to hear any "I wasn't warm" when it's time for you to hit the PINE.

I went fishing the other day....it wasn't cold enough for ice fishing....but it was cold enough that my hands were frozen from all the water coming off the Revo and putting fish back in the drink and washing off the hands.

We had parts of the Potomac get iced over a couple weeks ago....but it was all free flowing when I went the other day. Bass weren't super active but my buddy and I actually had a few takers. He caught a nice 3-4 lb chunk. I even had a few carp that couldn't get out of the way fast enough to avoid the Rat L Trap that was going bye...that was fun

I don't know....but never needed an umbie myself if it wasn't raining. I remember shooting an ASA Pro AM one year in Roanoke and I had to dump my quiver out every 2 or 3 targets Outdoor Nationals a few years ago it was raining so hard on Sunday that I was huddled under my giant umbie.....but never needed one at a shoot to block the wind or sun. Not at IBO Worlds...an ASA Pro Am or NFAA Nationals or any other time I have shot outdoors. Even shooting FITA with the no shade anyplace other then under the canopy we had setup
