    Strother Rush Xt Speeds

Anybody got speeds on their Rush XT yet? I was shooting mine at +-70 lbs/29.5 draw/438 grain arrow a 294-296 and +-70 lbs/29.5 draw/382 grain arrow a 310-312. I have about 20 grains on the string. That puts me I think 10 below the 345 IBO.

I started a thread last night asking for speeds also. I am curious what others are seeing with these...
I have a 30/70, and played with another that I set to 30/70, and neither is near 345ibo. I'll probably get crucified for saying so, but I'm just being honest... 330 is about tops on both that I have played with at honest specs, 328 if you want a decent valley. My bow will not be leaving me for anything, I really like it, but the other XT went back to SA to be checked out since it wasn't spoken for and shot 329 out of the box(just like mine). That one came back at 333, but it is set at about 74# now, so that's not quite kosher. I'm not trying to knock anything, I like the bows quite well, and like the company, it just is what it is... I'll be hunting with mine this fall, I have no issues with a 330 ibo bow, I just wish it was rated in that area if that's what it's gonna shoot

I do intend on making 8190 string and cbles for it after 3D league ends, and I will spend a little time tuning it the best I can at that time too, maybe the speed is in there somewhere?? One good thing, I lost only 2fps with this bow from completely bare to loaded up with peep, loop, etc.

Well I put mine on a draw scale and it was 69 and my ATA was off 3/16 so I expect to picked up a couple FPS by adding some twusts but still would have my 336 IBO which I am fine with. Mine shoots so good. I would like to get it on a draw board to make sure timing is perfect but Ill have to wait on that. The finish on these bows is a good as any as I have seen and I have owned Hoyts, PSE, Mathews, Elite, and G5 prime over the last 2 years.

By getting back to spec I increased to 296-298 and my arrow weight is 442 vs the 438. Im pretty happy with that speed. It shoots very good. I shot a 291 vegas with skinny axis arrows today at lunch. Pleased with this bow. I also was able to correct a small timing issue. I was out of tune by a full turn.

A little common sense goes a long way, unfortunately it's in short supply.
