What's your furthest shot on a turkey?

Had a Tom hang up on me today... Closest he got was 32 yards.... I would have pulled the trigger but i thought he was going to get closer, before i knew it, he was gone with all his ladies..

So what's your furthest shot on a turkey?

I made a perfect shot on one at 63yds last spring.Probably the most excited I've been after a shot to this date.I was practicing alot at 70 and 80yds at the time and was really confident.I got so sick of them hanging up at 50 or 60 yds and making a fool out of me every season I told myself I'm going to practice until I'm 100% on a bird at 70 yds so thats what I did. Then in the fall I didn't have as much time to practice and I shoot right over one at 40yds.

Last year I killed my biggest bird ranged at 77 yards coming into full strut. Drilled him and he was dead at the spot, ill try to post up pics. 25# 11.25" beard and 1.25" spurs. I found pellets in his breasts and legs when I cleaned him, no.wonder he hated decoys and calls, still wasn't out of range of the monster though...

Farthest... Well as of now 4 yards is the farthest. But that's cuz I just shot my first one yesterday! And he came right between where I was and where the decoys were!!

20 yards on a hen, shotgun.

I shot one with my bow at 47 yards...as it was trotting away from me. Dropped it in its tracks. It was one of my better shots

Ranged the spot gobbler was going at 28 and didnt notice the he didnt walk exactly right there was more like 35 and let him leave with a few less breast feathers. That was last year hopefully this year will be different.
