This is archery for sure but having said that, I use to get a brick at Wally World for $10.00. I've got a few thousand 22 bullets and never use them. Guess I ought to put them on the market!

If $50 is the cheapest 22LR ammo, I won't shoot mine anymore once my ammo runs out.

I have no trouble getting powder, lead and primers right now, I load for the bigger calibers/center fire.

Yeah I will wait until the drastic over reaction settles down. I would rather shoot my bow anyday. They were probably sold out by the time you created this thread.

$50 is still price gouging for .22lr. These prices are insane. People are going to end up with closets full of ammo they can't afford to shoot and look like total fools.

Yes really. The gun shows around here have people selling 500 Remington wildcats (total crap ammo) for $120/500. Anybody who pays that is mentally deficient.

Got my brick today of Eley Tenex
I have wanted for many years to shoot some Eley Tenex but the price was to high.
    Now with the ammo crunch:
Price gougers now sell 500 rounds of CCI Mini Mags for $250 +
    yes thats $50 a sleve of 100.

Well the Eley Tenex 22lr 40gr ammo was just under $210 for 500 rds. shipped.

Can't wait to try them out.

    Still 20 cent's a round. That's 10-15 cents too much.

Yep, similar to around here. It is absolutely crazy how many people think that a bill that didn't pass will somehow affect the sale of rim fire ammo. I am about as far away from a liberal as you can get, but this mentality is nuts. Oh well it will die down and prices will come back to normal. Although the firearms/ammo/NRA have strongly come out in opposition to any possible bill that make restrict the 2nd amendment (I agree, except for increased background checks) I bet they are all laughing all the way to the bank and thanking the paranoia of several Americans.
