    Hoyt Spyder draw length

Ok A little confused on which bow to order. I was at my local archery dealer and test shot the hoyt spyder. Loved it. Now when i shot it, it was supposedly set at 28". The lowest setting on the bow as it was a #3 cam 28-30. Im a 26" draw length on all past bows and could even shoot at 25 3/4. Now the Spyder at 28 damn near fit me. Just a bit to long. So does hoyt usually fit shorter. Not sure, never owned one. I have owned Xforces, bowmadness, now Carnage and all at 26". So I want to put in the order for a hoyt Spyder, but now not sure which cams to order. The 23.5 - 26 or the 26-28. Can anyone else help direct me inthe right direction. Thanks....

I'm sure you test shot the Spyder 30. I'm assuming the other bows you've shot had longer ATA. The Spyder 30 fits shooters best that have a 28" draw length and shorter. I definitely would try out the 26-28 cam and have it set at 27". That's my guess!! Good luck!!

I would go with the #2 cam You can get 28 but you can also go down to 26 with module change.

Yup but still not sure. Iam going to take the grip off and get sideplates. Will then need a shorter mod. It's just on the cusp of cam one or cam 2 as my draw is 26. I don't want to be stuck with the wrong bow. Just want to know if Hoyt draw lengths tend to run shorter than some others or are they true.

I have found that they run a tad long out of the box. Nothing a few twists in the string won't fix! I would get the #2.
