    Makers of 21" ILF risers?

Okay after trying many different ilf brands, and many different bows, I always come back to a 21" inch riser. I just really prefer this size. 21 Inch riser, and long limbs on it. I feel this is a smooth draw for me, and a little forgiving, but I still get decent enough speed to have a good PoD. Unfortunately I only know of 2 brands that make 21" risers, Hoyt makes the excel(which I have) and DAS makes one.

Now for some assistance if anyone would help. I've been using the hoyt excel, and while I enjoy it, I MUCH prefer wood risers. I unfortunately do not know of a person/company that makes 21 inch ILF risers in wood/phenolic. I think at one time I saw Morrison archery put out a nice 21 inch riser, though I'm guessing that was a complete custom order, which I don't mind doing if I have to I suppose.

So what other options do I have for a 21" riser if I look to get something different then my Hoyt? I'd prefer it be in wood or Phenolic(both would be ideal haha). Any suggestions on makers or people would be appreciated, so I can start looking into it. Thanks all.

Morrison just started making 21" risers BUT I believe he is currently moving and not open for business.

I believe border will make a 21" riser (15-25" per their website)

Sky makes an alum 21" riser might be worth looking at too.

In wood, it's just at a cross-over point between what target archery prefer and hunters prefer. If it's wood, it's going to cater more to hunters and be shorter and lighter.

Hmmm Border, they also make the Hex limbs don't they? I'll have to look into them.

<- Mostly shoots 3D archery, so I like the cross between Target and hunter equipment

Thanks Guyver, I'll look into it, and I might even contact Morrison and see what there schedule is.

Bob Morrison said he could make whatever size you need. I have the 21". Liking it so much I might go with a 19"

LOL! I took the flipper rest off and have been shooting off the shelf. I like the heavier weight of this riser compared to my wood ones

Ooooooh yeah I saw one just like for sale. Did he make like a twin or something to that one? Beautiful riser and just about what I'd want haha. I do enjoy my wood and Phenolic risers :P What's the wood used in that one Mr. Jeff? Wish we could still get rosewood haha.

Yeah, he made a sister one to mine. Mine had the cocobolo (sp?) flares on the inside and the other one had it on the outside. I think he sold that one pretty quickly after making it.

Bear, Hoyt, and many others made a fine 21" riser many years ago...we call it a Warf.
