    quieting the mxb320 even more

i posted this elsewhere on the site but thought i,d share it here with you guys about a couple things i did on the mxb320 that made a great difference in noise reduction, 1st i tried limb jax blah couldnt tell any difference, put a jax on the arrow tension spring it made a deffinate difference in reduceing the twang when fired, but i wanted more so i removed the side plates on the forearm and the pistol grip and completly filled the voids in the riser and side plates with silicon, it made a huge difference more than i thought it would for sure, imo i would definatley try this if your looking to make a very quiet xbow even guieter, has anyone else tried anything with good results?

The 320 I just purchased has rubber side plates. The 360 I shot earlier (last yr's) had plastic side plates that were not only loud buy looked cheezy as well. The arrow retention spring does not have any tang to it as well, albeit I'll put some shrink tubing on it to stay true to my signature.
Why do I hunt? Simple, it's BASIC.

I'm shooting the Hawke XB1 1.5-5x32 SR IR. Using 22" Black Eagle Executioners arrows with Firenock J nock. It's a modified capture nock made especially for the short insertion reach of the Mission MXB 320.
