Rut Predictions - Deer & Deer Hunting

Caught a rerun of Deer & Deer Hunting last night and it was the episode with Charlie's rut predictions. Half asleep but I think he gave 11/13 - 11/15 as the dates to be in the woods. I know there are a million variables that affect the rut and this thread doesn't need to list everyone.

But since we are on the start date of Charlie's prediction just curious for those out there if they are seeing an uptick in movement. This is for the northern states.

Yep, as a matter of fact the one fawn I seen this morning with her mom you could still easily see the spots on it yet. Must of been bred late.

Ive seen small bucks running and grunting does since like 10-20.

Killed a mature buck walking through at 4 pm on 11/2 but overall activity has been sporadic to slow.

Northern IL here, I've seen some chasing on 10/28, but just one doe since then. I'm going out Friday afternoon though, so maybe things will change.

Been on vacation the past couple weeks, hunting morning and evenings hard here in Montgomery County, NY. Nothing but skippers chasing every couple days. They realize the does arent ready and wander off.
