    Jack Wallace Interview (BowJunky)

"I was offered more than I've ever been offered to stay, I left for different reasons. It's hard to say now after all these years but, I believe there's a better bow being built...I believe there's higher quality equipment out there, and I think there's other reasons to shoot a bow than just money. The fact is I believe in my heart that Hoyt's making the very best equipment in the world today. I did a lot of things to test that, before I approached anybody I bought several different bows from different companies...I didn't ask anybody for anything I didn't ask for any freebies. I bought the bows, I shot them and tested them...I shared with my family & friends and I told some people that are close to me that if there was a shoot-off a year from today and I had to make that final 5 shoot-off and my life depended on it, I would shoot they Hoyt and that's just a fact. If you look at the fit, the finish and the quality of a Hoyt bow...It's pretty obvious to me that Hoyt is an engineering company, and it's pretty obvious to me that Mathews is a marketing company." -Jack Wallace

to be honest the guy seems to be sincere, and mathews is not doing anything to disuade me from thinking that way. this coming from a guy who enjoys the pleasure of shooting a Z7 magnum from time to time.

That was a great interview. Seemed sincere. Hinting that alot more might be leaving mathews soon, i thought.

    Mathews is Marketing
    Hoyt is Engineering

I would agree with that more if you were to put it vice versa

Jack, I thought it was a very good interview. Obviously you believe in what you're doing, and you put yourself out there for everyone to see. You shouldn't have to apologize for it. It seems that every product, service, or TV personality gets ripped in some way from the childish AT crowd.
