Definitely has a lot going on, but I am very curious how it performs for people. Everything posted on AT that is "different" gets bashed before it even hits the market, then everyone's attitude changes once it gets into the hands of several people and put to the test. We'll see...

It does look like a lots going on but I won't count it out until I've handled one.

I like to see new things come out and that is pretty cool looking. I like that the tip is a true razor sharp (if true) Looks like it will make a hole that won't close up.

I Have never shot a Rage 3 blade... Never was going to either... until this one. I didn't like how the three blades deployed. Looked like they could get bound up. BUT, I might have to give this a try. Its got a bigger cut, 1.75" vs 1.5" which I like. and the deploy mechanism looks pretty good. I guess time will tell tho.

I think I'll stick with the 2 blade, they haven't let me down yet.

Been solely shooting the original 3 blades since 08'. I have a few kills in between with a custom Titanium head that held 40 KE blades, but zero failure in any fashion with the 3 blades. These look interesting. Would like to put my hands on one.

Is there a demo of how it works or how the blades deploy?

That thing looks like it would be the noisiest broadhead on the market by far! You sure it's not some kind of "transformer" broadhead? Maybe it turns into a taser and drops the deer right where they stand. I'd bet there's a battery pack in there somewhere!!

Where the blades are connected looks about as strong and durable as tin foil. The blades look super thin ....so I'm sure then will bend and break off. But hey I'm sure you'll be able to buy 3 for $59.99. Expensive and Fragile. Awesome. I used to back rage, but...I'm done.

its a cut down t3 ferrule with rage blades..too "mechanical" to me and 3 too many screws to give troubles with changing the blades

  22. #22
