I agree, well done indeed! A hades mechanical should make for larger entrance and exit wounds with the typical Grim Reaper watch them drop performance!

I'm glad they finally got some new stuff! The hybrid looks cool...and they got a Deep Six. Great moves.

It will be interesting to find out how that hybrid flies compared to field points. Very good product line.

I predicted late in 2012 that we would see a lot of hybrid Grave Digger copies in the near future. Here is one of them.

I wonder if you can swap out the silver cup with the standard black cup. That would reduce the cut diameter slightly but possibly enhance penetration.

What I like about this hybrid is how far the blade sits back on the ferrule. Having the lead blade further down on the ferrule offers much more rigidity to the ferrule itself IMO. So long as it is equipped with a beefy spring it should be a phenomenal head.

Would it require high KE set ups?

I can't see how it would require more then an average 1.5" considering the fixed portion doesn't have to waste energy deploying.

My thought would be cause its more cutting surface than the traditional 3 blade 1 3/8". Regardless I'm putting these in my quiver this year. Turkey season opens here in late March. Hope I can get some soon!

i don't think it will require more or less KE, you're still going to have to have the power to open 2 mech blades....honestly i think Grim Reaper has proven themselves with their mechs and from what i've seen with their fixed blade hades head...i will find out soon i just ordered some Hades..any ways i doubt there will be any issues with the hybrid reaper as far as performance wise

I'm in on that hybrid. Is it a 2" WS cut? If not I wonder if the WS blades will work on it...
