Maitland Archery will continue to produce bows, but.........

Not w/ Rob at the helm. Rob is selling the company to an unknown buyer. Hopefully his ingenuity and attention to detail are well played from the new owner.

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.

This may actually be a good thing if the new owner is able to manage the business side of things better and let Rob do what he does best -- design an innovate.

If this is true Maitland isn't Maitland without Rob so there is no new owner but maybe a big money investor.

Rob deserves this. He can concentrate on designs and let a money man work on streamlining production, sales and CS.

There is a lot of talk on AT. A bit of a rumor about Maitland and Mathews having legal issues. I was hoping to get one of your bows sometime this year but was concerned that you were no longer in business.

Hey Don, The rumors are far from the truth. We however are in the process of selling the business. It happening as we speak. I hope the new owners will take the pride as I did to bring technology to the archery business.

that's really good news, was afraid they were going under. Selling the company sounds like a win - win for everyone

hopefully Maitland USA will now have the resources behind it that is needed and hopefully Rob gets a nice payday and an opportunity to continue to design great bows without the headaches of running a manufacturing company and holding down a day job.

looking forward to seeing what comes next for Maitland.

Don, based on Rob's email to you, it doesn't sound like he will be involved any longer. Out right sale. Maybe Mathews did buy Maitland...that would help explain the patent drawings/filing.

I sure hope Mathews didn't buy them.....that would keep me from owning any new maitlands.

If that is the case, I'm buying every K6 that goes in the classifies...

Even if they did, I'd like to get a Kinetic 7 and call it good.

In time....gotta wait for for now...

Only 2 weeks left in our season, and have a bunch of deer to shoot yet.

I'll be in the market over the summer to prepare for next season.

I wonder how long this will take. And if the Maitland name will continue. Or will the new company strap a new name to robs designs.

Hope they still will cover warranty work with my k6. For the future

"IF", the Mathews rumor is true, this will get Mathews into a CP style bow.

Honestly, I could care less who buys them as long as they stay the same. I love the bows. It's hard to find a bow with the smooth draw cycle and great transition into the valley like a Maitland.
