    Bowtech RPM 360 review

    Hi Guys

I had the opportunity to shoot the first and only RPM 360 in South Africa and took the video camera with. Reviews is not really my thing but thought I would share my findings seeing that there is not allot of info with regards to whether or not this bow is hitting IBO. Please take it easy on me, it's my first try at this

Awesome! Thanks for the video and pointing out likes and dislikes job well done! I can tell you you drew that bow like 50#'s!! Very very quiet can't wait to get one in my hands!

Can you comment on how the weight felt is the 4.4#'s noticable or did feel balanced? Thanks again!

Bowtech needs to calm down their limb graphics again. Do they think evryone wants lightning bolts on their limbs? Cheesy. They did better last year but this year they look stupid again like the Destroyer/Insanity.

    Whats the valley like?

    Very well done review!

What was the camo pattern? AP or APG?

I did notice that the bow was slightly heavier but to be honest, I liked it. The bow aims very well and i think the weight contributes to this. Also think that is quiets the bow down. I really wont mind carrying the extra weight in the field.

The valley was comparable to my CPXL, you can off coarse increase or decrease this by playing with your draw stops.

Think it was AP, not crazy about it.

Thanks. I think Bowtech has really improved on the quality of their camo film dip. Maybe next year they will change the grip back to the way it was? I sure hope so. Still it looks like there will be allot of positive reviews to come on this new bow 2014.

    +1.

Last couple of years, their camo has been awful.

I know the graphics don't make how the bow performs but that's the only thing I don't like of the 360. If they'd just take the lightning bolts off it would really look better in my opinion.

I am with ozzz I don't like the graphics on the limbs. Also not crazy about the looks of the grip either. I would of liked to see them keep the grip the same with the sideplates. These are just my dislikes as I am sure others will like the changes. For me though I thinks its time to cancel my order.

I agree with you, there is a fast improvement on their camo. It was badly stretched on their previous bows.

Expect a slightly stiffer pull, but you will be amazed. My CPXL shoots that same arrow over the same chroney at 297fps, RPM is 25fps faster!! I'm keeping my CPXL for 3D and getting a 70# RPM to hunt. Have to hunt a Gemsbuck that I did not get last year and planning to hunt a Eland as well. Think the RPM is a good choice for these bigger game.

Thanks for the review. I couldn't agree more about the limb graphics. I don't know what they were thinking there. Pretty lame. Weird they would put some junk like that on their flagship bow.

I am currently without a bow at this time. I had sold an obsession I had after our season ended.

Wall on the Obsession bows are amazing and I love their finish options for 2014 . . . I take it you have shot the RPM? If not, I think you should. The engineering behind the bow makes up for the one or two not so great choices.

I haven't shot the RPM yet. My dealer knows what I like and told me I would like the rpm. I love the od cam system. Would just like to see them keep the grip they had. Just saw someone post in the general discussion forum that Bowtech is saying end of February until they are in shops. I am not sure I can wait that long. Lol

    Nice Review....

I wonder if bowtech is paying Hoyt royalties for the use of the limb shox technology? just noticed bowtech added them to the RPM 360.

I hope not, my dealer told me last week first week of feb or not later then second week.

OP great review love the specs and everything, seem like it would be a perfect bow for the wife (i have it on order for her already in 50lbs)
I also like the no press now to change draw lengths again. I know the draw stops can be moved to give a better valley but in the "normal" spot for the draw stop hows the valley at 28'' in the bow you shot? it looked like from the video it was a short valley and kind of wanted to pull forward like the d350 bow.
    thanks
