Longest shot I've ever took on an animal was 52yds, and it was a Rabbit of all things. Hit him square in the Head, he didn't do much. On a Deer, the furthest was 46yds, she jumped the string (even at 302fps), she was able to TRY and get out of there, I hit her back in front of the ham. She didn't make it 75yds with a Good Blood trail. Thank God for the Rage Xtreme 2-Blade. My first Solo Cam, and it was cool to see the reaction in slow motion as she "jumped" the string

My first deer harvested with a bow presented itself at 37 yards. Hit lung and clipped spine because he ducked, ran less than 10 yards. Muzzy and Easton FMJ did the trick for me.

30yds, once. Saw the buck lay down after the shot, and for an hour I watched his antlers sticking up over the huckleberries. Then I snuck down out of the tree, before my buddies came to get me for lunch and spooked the deer. Went back an hour before dark and he jumped up, ran, and laid down again after going 60yds. He did it again when I tried to get close, but dropped down off the ridge and out of sight. This time I ran over the ridge like a deer, grunting with a tube in my mouth, and ready to shoot. Caught him laying down, stunned by what he was seeing, and I got a fatal shot in him at 10yds as he stood up to run. Hit only 1 lung with first shot. Can't see more than 20-25yds in most places where I hunt.

60 yards on a button buck that had injury. Decided to put him down. Quarted away, passed threw with a grim reaper razortip 1-3/8 i think. Thats was back in 2011 when I had my black ice. Shot
a raccoon a 51 yards off the base of a tree with that bow. That was the best shot I have ever pulled! Its nice to know that bow coould zip threw stuff and is no where near the speed or power of my current setups!

I think it is pretty stupid to shoot at any animal at over 50 yards. I have had many jump the string at 40 yards. One of these days you guys shooting over 50 yards will injure some good deer that you could have killed at a closer yardage if you would just be patient. If I wanted to shoot deer that far I would rifle hunt.

56 complete pass through deer jump forward about 5 yds stood there looking around trying to figure what had happened and fell over,
Quartering away went in behind shoulder came out in front of shoulder on other side. Muzzy mx4 knew my equipment and payed close attention to the deers behavior before I took the shot, he had no clue.

47yds spitfire edge bowtech tribute double lung high. Bleated to stop him went 140yds no pass through easton axis. 186lbs on the hoof 8pt.

46yds d6 killzone Hoyt vector 35 spined bleated to stop him he jumped the string spined him. 192lbs ga on the hoof opening week of season. 8pt

45yds quartering to, Hoyt vector 35 bi-polar easton axis FMJ just behind leading shoulder entrance exit through the flank pass through nock turnal was drowned. 56 yards on a big 8 point this past season. I found him 150 yards later and the slick trick made a complete pass thru. I don't encourage anyone to shoot at these distances unless the animal is very claim and the archer is very efficient at the range they are shooting.
