I don't know if there is already a thread for this, but here we go. What was everyone's first Bear bow. Mine was a Bear Outbreak that i got from dicks in August of 2013. I quickly out grew it and replaced it in September/November with an Agenda 6
Mine was the mighty Assault 60lb camo. I've never looked back. You can't beat Bear Archery for shootable yet affordable quality products. I've since owned the anarchy and now the motive 6. I Started my Bowhunting addiction with a Bear in my hands and ill finish it the same way. Now I'm seriously considering the Agenda 6 I'm glad my wife doesn't read my posts haha.
You won't be disappointed with the Agenda 6. I shot several makes and and models before I picked it. I must have shoot 10 bows over a 2 day period and the agenda was hands down the best of them all. Don't count the Venue out either, I just pick one up a few days ago and it is an extremely smooth shooting bow not as fast as the agenda but still really nice
Mine was a Bear recurve (dont' know the model but it was 35#), I borrowed from my cousin for the summer. Summer of '85. Practiced all summer long shooting into a sand pile at 4part plastic tomato trays. Shot a little spike on my first sit. Can you say hooked?
mine was a white tail 2 in like 87 or 88 i remember ordering it from cabelas and going nuts waiting for it to arrive. i found that exact bow 2 years ago and now have it back in my collection. my first bow was a indian timber wolf and i am still looking for one of those.
My fist bow was a Method in Aug '13, I have since added an anarchy. When a 70 lb shadow motive 6 or agenda 6 come up S/H in Australia I will get it.
I will give my Method to my Brother.
A youth longbow. It was called the Bear Red Fox longbow. Red fiberglass with a white ambidextrous grip. It was my uncle's when he was a kid and my grandpa gave it to me when I was a kid. The next was a 2004 Bear Buckmaster 4000. Still have them both. The Buckmaster may get a face lift and turned into a spots bow.
1971 Bear Grizzly recurve............just purchased a 2014 Bear Method.A few bows between those two including a couple of Hoyts,Pearsons,York and Parkers.
Whitetail Hunter. A long time ago. Hooded cams, steel cables, an engineering marvel back in the day! Wish I still had it.
I have owned all kinds of bows since then. I don't even think I could list them all... As far a Bear goes... Attack, Carnage, Empire, Domain, Motive 6 x2, and now the Agenda 6. It's a great shooting bow.
My first bow that I just got in Nov.2013 is a Legion. Our youngest son (14 yo) also got his first bow in Nov. 2013 and its a Encounter. So far we really like them.
It was my dads Bear Kodiak recurve I don't remember the year but I know it was from the early 80's. I broke it like a dummy and he was pissed, never bought another again. I was out of archery for years until I got a 2006 Bear Code.
Now I own three more bows but I wish I had that Bear recurve today. Now my son has a recurve, a 2011 Bear Kodiak magnum 50# 28"DL.
