I've used the jake-mobile and she mobile the last 3 years and 8 birds have been killed over them between me and my brother. I finally bit the bullet and bought the jake this year and would like to get a hen before season. We'll see if they're really worth it.

I use cheap fold up decoys. Couldn't even tell ya what brand. An upright hen, a feeding hen, and a jake. Had a half strut at one time but for some reason the farm I hunt the toms stay away from anything that's strutting. They come in fast with just a standard upright jake.

I am using two Avian X hens and the Avian X Jake for decoys. I also run multiple brands on calls. Mouth calls I use Shane Hendershots Mind Games and Woodhaven.. Using a southland elite series aluminum pot call. Also just picked up a couple new ground blinds from Cabelas a few weeks ago. I will be going out Saturday listening and hopefully I'll get a few pictures or some short video clips I can post up here for us. As far as broadheads I am sticking with my Grim Reaper Whitetail Specials.

I vote pecker wreckers. I have a doghouse blind and a short draw length so it works nice for me. I have a couple mouth calls that i use in conjunction with a sweet little liar box call

I wish I was hunting Florida. I'm headed there next week for spring break and I'm more than a little disappointed that I can't afford to hunt while I'm there.

No different states for me. It's too far to drive to a good hunting state. I'm too close to New York and New Jersey and their laws are so arse backwards I wouldn't wanna risk it. I'll stick with pa longbeards

Anyone use those shock calls? Like owl crow etc. they seem pointless in pa since in spring you can't stalk

I've never really had any success with them. I don't do a lot of run-n-gun style hunting and when I do I'm going after a bird that I either saw or heard, so I don't have a real need for them.

Same here. And with good scouting they should be flying down to ya anyway. My only concern is the woods where I've watched em roost is posted and the owner hates hunters be he has in the past come out just before light and banged pot and pans along the tree line to keep me from dropping in the field where a few of us have permission.

I've never had to deal with anything like that around here. What are PA's hunter harassment laws?
